Guess what!

I got accepted! I was placed in an Elementary School in St. Louis (my second choice city). I always thought of myself as a middle school teacher but I am welcoming the challenge.

I'll be in Los Angeles for training from July 1-August 4.

Hurray Hurray Hurray!

My head is spinning right now. I don't even know what to do next!

Congratulations. I am currently in the process of applying for TFA and have a phone interview on Friday. I live in the St. Louis area and hope to be placed there if I make it. Was wondering if you could give me any ideas about what to expect about the phone interview or the day long process. would appreciate any advice!

Go Kim!

I knew you could do it!
Do you know what grade you'll be teaching?

Congratulations! Take advantage of these last few months of "free time" (yeah right, with a wedding and all!) before institute-- TFA summer institute is most likely the seventh level of hell. But then you will be PART OF THE MOVEMENT! (And you will learn so many TFA buzzwords that either your head will explode or you will create a drinking game. One of them is inevitable.)
