I had another wedding nightmare last night. In this one, my mom had secretly hired a DJ. I didn't find out until it was too late. In my dream the DJ was playing "The Safety Dance." You know the one, "you can dance if you want to....but if you don't dance then you're no friend of mine." I'm SURE you know the song.

I moved to Cincinnati this year with my boyfriend after graduating from College. It isn't really the city of my dreams, but I am making the most of my time here. I just got my dream job at the local Rape, Crisis and Abuse Center as a community educator and volunteer coordinator. I have a debatably unhealthy fascination with kitchen gadgets and I love my mattress. Yes, I consider myself a feminist.

you mean the safety dance will not be played at your wedding? what about the humpty hump song? If neither of those will be played, i don't know if i can come...
I hear a lot about this "Humpty Dance" but I can honestly say I have no idea what song people are talking about. NO IDEA. So no, I doubt that we will play the Humpty Dance. It sounds horrific. However, we will play "My Angel is a Centerfold" and "You Shook Me All Night Long."
